Location
Cerny dul is a picturesque mountain town at the foot of the Black Mountains between Vrchlabi and Janske Lazne. Due to its attractive location, Residence Aurum offers its guests various outdoor activities throughout the year, from winter’s downhill, ski-alp and cross-country skiing to biking, trekking or taking a family hike on the trails during the warmer seasons.
Gastronomy
The restaurant Posta is part of the Resort Aurum Group. This traditional restaurant prides itself on its stylish atmosphere and top Czech cuisine prepared based on traditional recepies and using local ingredients and will leave you with an experience to remember.
For those who would like the comfort of a four-star hotel and also experience the magic of the mountaintops in the direct center of the Krkonose National Park, we offer an exclusive excursion to Aurum’s sister hotel, Prazska Bouda, one of the most reknowned and largest ski lodges standing above Pec pod Snezkou. We invite you to experience this charming historic building either for an evening meal or a morning start directly in the center of skiing, cross-country and hiking trails. We will be pleased to arrange an excursion to Prazska bouda during the winter months on sno-cat or ski-jet, and during the summer you can either take a walk to visit, or we can arrange a trip by quad bike.
Prazska bouda offers classic Czech cuisine including the famous svíčkova (beef tenderloin in cream sauce), and also offers lighter vegetarian options. The restaurant at Prazska bouda has a children’s play area and billiards, and makes a great place for your private parties, team building events or corporate trainings

Where to find us
From Prague – The quickest option is via highway D11 via Hradec Kralove to Jaromer, then continuing via route 37 to Trutnov, continuing then to Svoboda nad Upou, where you turn left onto route 297 towards Janske Lazne. Alternatively, you can take highway E65 towards Mlada Boleslav, contining then via route 16 via Jicin, Nova Paka and Vrchlabi until reaching destination Cerny dul.
From Brno – Via route E461 to Svitav, then continue via route E442 via Litomysl, Vysoke Myto and Holice to Hradec Kralove. Then continue to Jaromer and then take route E37 to Jaromer, continuing to Svoboda nad Upou, taking a left onto route 297 towards Janske Lazne.
From Ostrava – Take highway D1 towards Olomouc and then route E442 via Litomysl, Vysoke Myto and Holice to Hradec Kralove. Then continue to Jaromer and then také route E37 to Jaromer, continuing to Svoboda nad Upou, taking a left onto route 297 towards Janske Lazne.
